Arrma Noise When Braking

WHY DOES MY ARRMA CAR MAKE A NOISE WHEN DECELERATING OR BRAKING?

Some Arrma vehicles make a noise when applying the brake; this sound may sound like a prolonged alarm, a whine, or a hum coming from the ESC/Motor.

Firstly, this sound is totally normal, and you should not be concerned when hearing the noise, even if other similar models don't make the noise.

This noise occurs when the motor is being told to go in a different direction than it's currently going; this is called magnetostriction, and it happens because the ESC is sending a command to the motor to stop turning, the magnets reverse and pull the motor the other direction causing this noise.
